Alliance Environmental Services manages playground inspections across 120 sites for two local councils and a number of local parishes. Completing around 200 inspections every month.
Before PSSLive+, all inspections were completed on paper, then scanned and transferred into Excel spreadsheets. Tracking findings and tasks was time-consuming and difficult, with no easy way to attach photos or prevent duplication of work.
Solution
Alliance Environmental Services now uses PSSLive+ to record all inspections on the mobile app and manage everything through the web portal. Sites are organised into routes, with weekly and monthly inspections scheduled directly in the system.
Tasks are assigned to maintenance teams and works orders created for contractors — all in one place. Photos are attached to every site, asset, finding and task, making it easier to record issues accurately and monitor progress.

Onboarding and support
From the first demonstration, Alliance Environmental Services found the implementation process straightforward. Staff training was handled by PSS, and the ease of use meant the team expanded to the Parks and Open Spaces module shortly after going live with Play.
